Dicovery: Faking It

FAKING IT

Hello guys,

It's been a while since we posted an article and I thought that we should come back with an amazing article and recently I've been watching a lot of stuff and I thought that because Tv-Shows, Movies and TV-Series are very communicative. I'll do the article on one of the shows I love the most.

The TV-Serie's name is "Faking It". It's an American-single-camera romantic comedy series that premiered on MTV on April 22, 2014. It was created by Dana Min Goodman and Julia Wolov. MTV ordered eight episodes for the first season in October 2013. As the show gained a huge success MTV announced a ten episode second season set to premiere on September 23, 2014.

In August 2014, the show won a Teen Choice Award for "Choice TV Breakout Show". In October 2014, MTV ordered 10 more episodes, meaning the season 2 will have a total of 20 episodes. On April, 25, The show was renewed for a third season.

The story is about Karma Ashcroft and her best friend Amy Raudenfeld since kindergarden who are invited to a house party hosted by popular gay student Shane Harvey, who is under the impression that the girls are a lesbian couple. At the party they are subsequently outed as the school's first lesbian couple and unwillingly nominated for homecoming Queens. Continuing the charade as their popularity soars, Karma attracts the attention of the popular and handsome Liam Booker, while Amy becomes aware of her growing romantic feelings for Karma and there is more and more things (NO SPOIL)

MAIN CAST:

- Katie Stevens as Karma Ashcroft
- Rita Volk as Amy Raudenfeld
- Gregg Sulkin as Liam Booker (Shane's Best-Friend and Karma's Boyfriend)
- Bailey De Young as Lauren Cooper (Amy's Half-Sister)
- Michael Willett as Shane Harvey (Liam's Gay Best-Friend and Amy's Confident)

Well, I'd like to say that what attracted me in the show is that it's about discovering and accepting ourselves. We shouldn't care about what others feel about us and be proud of who we are. It brings also many questions about "do we really know who we are ? like in Amy's case". They are so many question "I am the same person I was before ? Do I like myslef now ? Is it right to...? Am I confused ? Is it an obsession ?. So many teenagers has this confusion about "Who am I ?" and maybe this show will help them (with a little bit of comedy and drama).

Hope you enjoyed this little article on this show and If you didn't watch Faking It, you should and I you liked it please leave a comment below and half of the season 2 will air from August 31, 2015.

Big Kisses xoxo
Bye, see you !

We didn't do a lot of shopping but Haul is not over yet so if we'll buy some other stuffs we'll add it after for sure.

So let's begin with products:

1. As you can see, the first two products are from The Body Shop, which is situated in Saint Lazare or the shopping center: Quartz in Villeneuve-La-Garenne. In this picture, you can see a Shower Gel that we bought for 5.00 and the soap was 1.50

2. I got a letter from Yves Rocher where they said that because I got a gift for Christmas and if I buy 3 Products there, I'll get another gift so I bought: A Malaysian Coconut Shower Gel 5.00€; Coconut and Raspberry Silky Lotion was 1.50€ and the gifts were: This Mascara which "normally" cost 24.40€ (Lucky me) and I got this green spong bath which I absolutely Love !

3. There was special Christmas products with red fruits (at Yves Rocher) and it was actually not that expenssive. The Foaming Gel was 1.95€; The hand creme was 2.50€ and the Shower Gel was 4.50

4. I bought at Kiko, Universal Fit Foundation for 5.90€ and the number is 7.

Now, Books and School Stuff:

1. The first novel was kind of expenssive but it was better then 25€. From the legendary literary master, winner of the National Book Award and New York Times bestselling author Joyce Carol Oates, a collection of ten mesmerizing stories that maps the eerie darkness within us all. I got this book at Fnac and it was 21.99€ (I got a better picture of this book so you can all see it well)

2. The 2nd is a novel is called The Bluest Eye written by Toni Morrison and published in 1970. It's very intriguing. It's actually Toni Morrison's first novel, a book heralded for its richness of language & boldness of vision. I ordered it on Amazon for college (from America) and it less expensive then Fnac, 7.00

3. The third one is a block note for college from Hema that I got for 3.00€. It's really good because it has so many pages and for me it's worth it !

 Penultimate part are Clothes:

- I bought two skiny jeans for 15€ at New Look. My favorite from these two is the second one.

- This dress was 7.00€, We got that from Jennyfer but I didn't have a nice photo so I chose from the website.

- I got this lovely blue printed dress again from Jannyfer and it cost 7.00

1. I got the 1st blue sweater with polar bear and snowflake at New Look and it was 12

2. While the second is a white sweater with deer from H&M and it cost me 8.99

FAVORIS

Favoris du mois de Décembre

Hey !
